Supernumerary Jobs: The scheme currently has 4 supernumerary jobs as part of the rotations. There are posts in Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Medicine for the Elderly and Endocrinology. These posts are 40 hours each week, without evening, nights or weekend shifts, paid at basic salary without any supplement. They have been approved for training
Community Posts The scheme currently has 4 innovative posts in Public Health, Community Psychiatry, Community Paediatrics & Community Gynaecology/ Family Planning. These comprise a 4 month period working 1 day a week in GP with 4 days a week within the speciality placement
Needed Posts Needed Posts 1& 2 on rotations 11&12 do not yet have finalised posts for August 2011 due to expansion of the scheme. These posts are likely to be based within medicine, be three month posts. We are currently considering a further EAU and a Neurology post.
