"Halesworth is an attractive Market town 10 miles from the seaside resort of Southwold on Suffolk's heritage coast.

Seven partners - 3 women, 4 men work from modern premises adjacent to the community hospital which has 20 GP beds, minor injuries unit and outpatients. Registrars very welcome to weekly clinical and business meetings and to specialist outpatient clinics.

Our main aim is to provide a high standard of primary care but other interests are palliative care, sigmoidoscopy clinic, child development, police work, Suffolk Accident, complementary therapies and medical politics.

Our nurses operate a triage system, we are "paperless", dispensing and belong to an out of hours co-operative. We have attached medical students from London and soon from the new Norwich medical school. We have two experienced trainers but there is a multidisciplinary approach to learning.
