We are a friendly and informal surgery [no ties, first names] with 5 doctors [ 3 part time] who all join in teaching..

We have 3 nurses who also enjoy teaching registrars and you can learn plenty from them.

There are 2 tutorials a week rotating between doctors. We are in well-equipped modern premises 1 mile from the city centre. We are 'paperless' and there is desktop Internet and email access for all clinical staff You are encouraged to come to monthly primary care team meetings, clinical governance meetings and fortnightly practice meetings [free sandwiches and usually a bit of a laugh].

Any latent research interests will be encouraged by ML but not compulsory! As a practice we have a slant towards psychosocial problems, so there's plenty of teaching on psychiatry, drug abuse, deprivation etc. though our patient population is not over demanding, including a chunk of the leafy suburbs.
