The University of East Anglia in Norwich
has been running a postgraduate degree course (MSc in Health Sciences)
for health professionals for several years now. This has enabled working
doctors, nurses, OT's, physiotherapists etc. to follow a modular programme
of study which rekindles their interest, stimulates their thinking
processes and leads eventually to a higher degree. In many cases this
is the first non-vocational, "academic" learning they have
done since leaving school. |
